I am an ACCA Affiliate, a UK-based global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification, having completed my qualification in January 2021. During my qualification, I have achieved many distinctions, with being named a Prizewinner in the Middle East for the PM (Performance Management) and AA (Audit and Assurance) papers in the skills-level and named as a National Prizewinner in Saudi Arabia for the TX-UK (Taxation, UK Variant) and AAA (Advanced Audit and Assurance) papers in the strategic professional level. In my foundation year, I have also achieved an average of 88% across 7 papers while scoring the highest in the FFA (Financial Accounting) paper with 98% and FMA (Management Accounting) with 90%. ACCA, in collaboration, with the Oxford Brookes University (UK) has created a specific BSc in Applied Accounting program for the ACCA students who wish to undergo an undergraduate program along with their ACCA studies. I awarded B grade for the Research and Analysis Project Report (RAP), and will be awarded a 1st class degree due to maintaining an average higher than 68% in the skills level exams, while I have maintained an average of 75%.
Experience
Professionally, I am an Audit Trainee at PKF Al-Bassam &Co, a member firm of the PKF International, with its headquarters situated in the UK. I joined work in February 2020 and up to date have worked on more than 11 clients, ranging from Food & Drinks Manufacturing Companies, to large Car Manufacturer Financing Companies. In 10 of these clients, I have worked on each and every aspect of the audit from the planning procedures to performing various forms of audit procedures to completion of the file. Due to COVID, my interaction with the clients have been completely remote and by means of virtual meetings and connections. According to the latest appraisals done of the employees, I have been highly credited by my Audit Managers for being an individual with strong communication skills, strong sense of responsibilities and commitments as well as being labelled as an individual who maintains a really positive and adaptable approach to work and has been able to exceed expectations in all forms of performance.
